Mr. Sofianos is a Hellenic Air Force retired Colonel. He served as a fighter pilot and instructor and spent most of his career in Air Force as an F-104 instructor. He also served as Head of Training in the Hellenic Air Force Academy. He is the founder of Dekeleia Aeroclub, a very successful registered facility which instructed 350 pilots in the last 30 years with the best safety record in the country. He is the founder of Superior Air which set up and holds all Aviation licenses, certificates and authorizations in the European Market. He has flown over 22.500 accident free hours in airplanes and helicopters. He holds the following:
